Why do men lie?

Seriously, why? Any bloody answers to this would be great, believe me! Because I don’t understand how men think. I really don’t. Any and all help would be much appreciated.

You know to any guys that read this, here’s a tip for the top: Stop lying to women!

The only reason that women get pissed off with you is if you lie to them. If you are up front with someone and they have all the facts to make a decision then you know what, it’s their decision. If all you want is a one night stand, be honest. If the woman wants more and you’ve been up front and told her that you just want a one night shag, if she goes to bed with you, great, then she can’t be pissed off if you don’t call (and if she is pissed off, well tough shit, you told the truth). If she doesn’t sleep with you, then you’ve saved yourself a whole mess of crap that you don’t need anyway.

And words have consequence. So don’t flippantly use the “l word” cos you know what goes around comes around. And some day, you’ll get lied to and get your heart broken. And it’s not just words that cause the lie, oh no, cos your mouth can say one thing and then your actions say another.

I’ve read loads of blogs on men’s pages where they’re bitching that women are hard work and women are hard to please and that you can’t talk to women anymore.

Want to know why? Because there is no such fucking thing left as a gentleman. None. I was talking to a guy out on Saturday night. Having the craic, I didn’t fancy him, but he was nice and I was chatting away. So he goes in for the kill, and when I say no, all of a sudden I’m a fucking bitch. Why? Because I talked to him but didn’t want to fuck him?

I’ve yet to meet a man who hasn’t disappointed me.

Am I bitter, you know what, I’ve bought a ticket for the train, I’m sitting comfortably in the carriage but I’m not sure it’s pulled out of the station yet. Must go prod the driver.
